Dragon Eye Cedar Incense Burner - Double-Sided

The eye of the dragon is formed by a drilled recess filled with resin, creating an iris where the incense is placed. A shallow, carved channel allows the ash to fall, tracing the dragon’s tail. Both the top and bottom surfaces are equally expressive, so the piece was designed to be reversible, with the eye and tail mirrored on each side.

About the Wood

Juniper is often called Eastern Red Cedar or aromatic cedar, though technically it isn’t a true cedar. It’s known for its bold color contrast and natural scent. The rich purple-red center is what makes these pieces stand out — especially once finished.

To refresh the natural, rich aroma of Cedar, lightly sand the surface with very fine sandpaper (320 grit). This will expose fresh wood. Afterward, a small amount of wood oil or wax can be reapplied if desired.
